Maple Hill Clockworks is a multi-faceted clock company offering a variety of services. Opened in 2003 as primarily a clock repair and restoration shop, MHC now offers a line of one-of-a-kind personalized specialty clocks. These clocks can be created and made for unlimited applications. They can be designed to highlight your company’s name or logo in your office or at your point-of-sale. They also make great gifts for retirement, weddings or anniversaries. For the home, design your own clock and create an heirloom to pass on for generations. Coming soon we will also be the exclusive internet outlet for a line of beautiful, hand made wall regulators from Weiler Woodworking. They are a family owned and operated (for 3 generations) Mennonite woodshop. (More on that later).

Maple Hill Clockworks was opened with the vision of offering a very technical and specialized service in an upright and honest way. While attending Gem City School of Horology in Quincy, IL, Doug, the clock doc, studied clock and watch repair, hand engraving and jewelry design. In 1993 he graduated with a degree in “Jewelry Store Management”. He chose to concentrate only on clock repair with the goal of becoming a true master at the art. After being open for only a short time, it became evident that, though many people repair clocks, few do it well.
